Homemade Facial Scrub Baking Soda

Maintaining your beauty can be expensive. There’s the need for face washes, astringents, scrubs, masks, peels and not to mention anti-aging creams. It’s a lot of work keeping our skin in good shape.

One thing I love is my facial scrubs, they offer such wonderful benefits. Smooth and clear skin is just two of the many problems I have to worry about when it comes to proper skin care. When I run out of my favorite facial scrub I don’t panic, I turn to my old home remedy to replace it.

Baking soda offers many advantages such as keeping laundry fresh, absorbing odors from the refrigerator, scrubbing hard stains from sinks, tubs, toilets and countertops. Did you know that you can use baking soda to get rid of gas, bloating, heartburn and as a teeth whitening?

Yes. It is very useful if you know what you are doing. Another way I’ve found out to use baking soda is by creating a at home face scrub. It’s simple, quick and quite effective. Here’s how to use it as a beauty regimen.

  • Use your normal face wash; pour some into the palm of your hand.

  • Then, pour a pinch of baking soda into the same hand with the facial wash.

  • Rub together and gently massage it into your skin and rinse off. That’s it!

Now, wasn’t that simple and quick? Feel your face, how does it feel? It should be smooth, free of dead skin and refreshed.

This remedy is safe and has no side effects when mixing with your skin soap, unless you are allergic to baking soda. And this  home remedy is much cheaper than the expensive skin care products. Cleaning your skin is just one of many important steps; you also should follow it with a natural and good quality anti-aging cream to keep your skin looking younger and firm.
